On July 2, 2024, you received an email advising of changes in CEIU National leadership effective June 28, 2024. This change in leadership was as a result of a decision made by PSAC’s National Board of Directors.

Phil Matheson, CEIU Alternate National Executive Vice-President, has accepted the position of National President. His contact information can be found under National Leadership.

CEIU is not in trusteeship, nor in administration. CEIU Bylaws remain in force. The National Executive is unchanged and continue to serve in their elected positions. Your Regional and Local leadership remains unchanged, and we continue to provide service and representation to our members.

The positions of National Executive Vice-President and Alternate National Executive Vice-President will be voted on by the National Executive in accordance with the CEIU Bylaws in the near future.

PSAC is supporting our component's transition to the new leadership and together, our members’ needs remain our key focus. Maintaining service and representation to CEIU members are our priority.
