With everything that is happening around the globe, CEIU will be extending the deadline date to submit resolutions to the CEIU National Office from March 27th, 2020 to May 1st, 2020.
We would like to remind all Locals, Regional Councils and Regional Committees that they can hold meeting by conference call or videoconferencing during this time and not wait to hold a face to face meeting to discuss resolutions they wish to submit to Convention.
As we are presently uncertain when things will return to normal, CEIU wishes to advise everyone that the deadline date will not be extended past May 1st, due to all the preparation work that needs to be done before the 2020 CEIU Convention.
Please do not wait until everyone returns to their workplaces before holding your meeting – you do not want to miss the extended deadline date of May 1st, 2020 and not have your resolutions submitted on time to be debated at the 2020 CEIU National Convention.
