Your Voice is Your Vote: International Women's Day

This International Women's Day, CEIU and your National women’s committee are proud to introduce our theme: Your Voice is Your Vote. Women’s voices shape our communities, our policies, and our futures, yet too often, our priorities are overlooked. This year, we are amplifying the issues that matter most to women:

*Action on Gender-Based Violence – Fund shelters, legal aid, and better safeguards.

*Support Affordable Childcare – Help working parents balance career and family.

*Defend Reproductive Healthcare – Protect access to birth control, abortion, and maternal care.

*Stand with Indigenous Women – Act on MMIWG2S+ recommendations and invests in safety.

*Push for Workplace Equity – Strengthen paid leave, fair wages, and job protections.

*Eliminate Gender-Based Pricing - Pink Tax - Ensure fair costs for all consumers.

*Include All Women – Support women with intersectional identities in all policies, including 2SLGBTQIA+, racialized, Black, and Indigenous women and women with disabilities.

Every time we raise our voices - whether in conversations, in advocacy, or at the ballot box - we take another step toward a more just and equal world.

Your voice matters. Your vote matters.
