With more nominations received than seats allocated, elections are being held in three (3) different regions, to elect CEIU delegates to the 2022 PSAC Convention. These regions are:

The 2nd day of the 15th CEIU Convention started out with the showing of a video of CEIU’s accomplishments.
To the singing of Solidarity Forever in the background, the video was played for the delegation. After its showing, the National President’s words were, “Wow, what a fantastic video. I hope that everyone enjoyed it as much as I did.” He continued by thanking CEIU members for their participation and collaboration in helping CEIU achieve these accomplishments as well as thanking all the ones that had worked on the preparation of the video.

DAY 1: CEIU National Convention – Monday, August 16th, 2021
The first day of the rescheduled September 2020 CEIU National Convention started off with a powerful Aboriginal Opening. This was followed by the CEIU National President, Eddy Bourque acknowledging the land on which he was gathering everyone as the traditional unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishinaabe People.

CEIU is appalled with the new direction taken by TBS on the use of 699 leave. It is imperative that we hold the employer at the departmental level accountable for their complacency in this discriminatory application of an entitlement our union earned through collective bargaining. Summary of the Fall 2019 National Executive Meeting
The National Executive (NE) met in Ottawa, Ontario from Friday, September 20th to Monday, September 23rd, 2019, with the afternoon of Sunday and the morning of Monday being In-Camera from 9 am to 11 am to discuss the direction of the Union.
