That's Right!

In 1987, Corrine Sparks made history by becoming the first Black woman in Canada to serve on the bench as a justice in family court. Judge Sparks took on family cases relating to custody, child and spousal support, access to children during divorce, and child protection. She’s known for developing educational programs and providing lectures on the subject of gender and racial discrimination in the court system.
