March 21: Pledge to vote for equity

Vote for Equity!
Our voices matter and so does our vote. Engaging in the democratic process is one of the ways we can influence the policies that shape our working lives and our communities. This year, and in years to come, you can make a difference by pledging to vote for equality and human rights.
I pledge to use my voice and my vote for a candidate who will stand up for equity.
I support a candidate who will:
✅Address anti-Black racism in the public service: Address the issues raised in the Black class action lawsuit and implement the proposals put forward by the Coalition Against Workplace Discrimination
✅Protect and improve workplace equity: Demand that the government amend the Employment Equity Actto enact the recommendations of the Employment Equity Review Task Force
✅Implement the recommendations contained in the Study on Black Executives in the Federal Public Service by Dr. Rachel Zellers
✅Commit to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Promise to protect and promote diversity, equity and inclusion policies and programs.
