Ottawa, ON – The International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia is an important occasion to mark the long struggle against prejudice, discrimination and violence against LGBTQ people across the world. CEIU members stand in solidarity with that struggle.

“Our union stands with LGBTQ people all over the world fighting for the right to live their lives free of prejudice, violence and discrimination,” said CEIU National President Eddy Bourque. “That battle is far from over, both in Canada and abroad, but as a union committed to social justice we will be there every step of the way.”
