CEIU was invited to an in-person meeting yesterday with senior management at ESDC/Service Canada.

The purpose of the meeting was to share with our union the results of the interdepartmental classification committee assessment of the new job description presented in September 2018. The meeting was held in camera.

The results are currently under embargo; however the employer intends to share the results with affected employees (Integrity and Income Security Programs) in the near future.

CEIU will provide our members with support as we move forward on this file. Check back for more updates in the coming weeks. In the meantime, we would like to encourage our members to address any questions following the employer’s announcement to their management.
