The CEIU National Office with the help of SimplyVoting will be conducting an electronic vote for the vacant position of Alternate National Vice-President for Human Rights (A/NVP for HR). This position will take effect after the election, up to the close of the CEIU Convention which will be held in August 2021.
The elections will start at 9 a.m. (EST) on October 5th and will end at 4 p.m. (EST) on October 9th.
Two nominations were received for this position:
- Lorraine Boyce
- Kelly Sidhu
All members who have self-identified with CEIU and for which we have a personal email address will be eligible to vote in this election.
If you have not yet self-identified with CEIU, you are invited to fill in the self-identification form and send it to CEIU at the email address indicated on the form. You can fill out the form and send it to CEIU up until 2:30 p.m. (EST) on October 9th, 2020 so that we can verify our database to ensure that you are a member in good standing in order to then be provided with an email from SimplyVoting with your PIN number so that you can vote before the deadline which is set for 4 p.m. (EST) on October 9th, 2020.
The results of the elections will be released shortly after the elections is closed on October 9th.
